Dina Meyer was born and raised in Forest Hills, Queens, New York, but moved to Dix Hills, Long Island in the last year of junior high school. Her sister is younger of Gregory and also has an older brother named Evan. It was her first position within the business. She did it between the ages of nine and sixteen. Ron Stetson taught her the Sanford Meisner acting technique at The Neighborhood Playhouse. Sandra Bullock has received the similar training received by Jeff Goldblum and Leslie Nielsen. Her first role was in the soap-opera Beverly Hills, 90210, in which she had to relocate away from Los Angeles. Soon after, she scored as the lead role in the movie Johnny Mnemonic, in which she performed the majority of her own stunts, establishing herself as an athletic actress. Through her agent who also is the representative of Matt LeBlanc she scored a role as a guest star on Friends.
